 The olive variety is the Tanche .

 It is a smooth and creamy oil, neither bitter nor fiery with aromas of freshly cut grass, green apple and flavors of dried fruits (hazelnut & almond) and butter on the palate.
 On the finish, Piallat olive oil has the flavor of artichoke.
